“I am a single mother to an 11-year-old girl. Receiving the Denman Fellowship has allowed me to completely devote myself to bar preparation, while preserving my relationship with my daughter. From studying while she is at day camp to running flashcards together during dinner, the impact of this fellowship is incalculable. Without it, I would have been forced to seek full-time employment while studying for the bar. This would have significantly impacted not only my ability to study, but more importantly, my relationship with my daughter. I will never stop being grateful for my receipt of the Denman Fellowship."
